Regular cleaning is the ongoing, scheduled visit that keeps a home consistently clean rather than repeatedly rescuing it. Berkshire EcoClean provides weekly, fortnightly and monthly regular cleaning across Ascot, Sunninghill, Sunningdale, Windsor, Bracknell, Maidenhead and the surrounding Berkshire and Surrey areas — same cleaner, same checklist, same day and time each visit.
It is the most cost-effective way to keep a home in good order. Because we are maintaining an already-clean baseline rather than tackling accumulated build-up, each visit is shorter and the price per visit is lower than a one-off clean of the same property.
Every regular visit covers
- Kitchen — worktops, hob, sink, taps, exterior of appliances, cupboard fronts, floor
- Bathrooms — toilets, baths, showers, screens, sinks, tiles and mirrors cleaned and sanitised
- Living rooms and bedrooms — dusting, surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, beds made on request
- Internal glass, mirrors, skirting, switches, handles and other high-touch points
- Bins emptied, fresh liners fitted, and a quick tidy so rooms are left presentable
Not included as standard (available as extras)
- Inside the oven, fridge, freezer and kitchen cupboards — these belong to a deep clean
- Descaling heavy limescale build-up and mould treatment on first visits
- External windows, and internal windows beyond glass in reach
- Ironing, laundry and changing bed linen (happy to add — just ask)
- Carpet and upholstery extraction, and tidying or clearing heavy clutter

Eco-friendly products, as standard
Regular cleaning is where product choice matters most, because the same products are used in your home every week for years. Every visit uses eco-friendly cleaning products and reusable microfibre systems as standard — gentler around children, pets and sensitive skin, and with far less packaging waste than single-use alternatives. There is no eco surcharge; it is simply how we clean. If you would rather we used something you already own on a particular surface, we will.
How long it takes
A typical regular visit takes 2–4 hours: around 2–2.5 hours for a one or two-bedroom flat, 2.5–3 hours for a three-bedroom house and 3–4 hours for a four-bedroom home. We work to a two-hour minimum visit. The first clean usually takes longer — sometimes considerably — because we are bringing the property to the baseline the schedule then maintains; many clients start with a one-off deep clean and move onto a regular schedule from there.
Pricing
Regular cleaning is quoted as a fixed price per visit, based on property size, the rooms included and how often we come. Weekly visits cost less per visit than fortnightly, because there is less to do each time. UK domestic cleaning rates typically run around £17–£25 per hour in 2026 (Checkatrade and Maid2Clean averages) and our pricing sits within that band. There is no contract, no joining fee and no charge for cancelling a visit with reasonable notice.
